Long Beach Park Bounce House & Jumper Rentals
MOB Rentals is on the City of Long Beach approved inflatable vendor list, so we can deliver, set up, and take down a jumper at any city park. Book your jumper with us and we bring it out with the generator the City requires — park picnic areas have no outlets, and only an approved vendor’s generator is allowed on park property. The one piece that’s on you: a park permit purchased from the City of Long Beach. Pull that, and we handle the rest.

Two Non-Negotiables for Park Parties
Park rentals work differently than a backyard party. The City sets the rules, and we don't have the ability to waive either of these. Get both handled and the rest is easy.
A City of Long Beach Park Permit
Every park party with a bounce house or jumper needs a permit issued by Long Beach Parks, Recreation & Marine, purchased by you directly from the City. Permit types and fees are set by the City, not by us, and depend on your park, your headcount, and what you're bringing.
Planning a backyard party instead? See our Long Beach bounce house & jumper rentals for home deliveries anywhere in the city.
Pull your permit early — popular parks book up — and email us a photo of the permit before your event. The name on the permit must match the ID of the person on site. No permit on file, no delivery.
A Generator From MOB Rentals
City parks have no public power outlets for jumpers, and Long Beach only allows a generator on park property when it is supplied by an approved vendor for that vendor's inflatable. That means the generator has to come from us with your unit.
You cannot bring your own generator, borrow one, or plug into a nearby building. Every park jumper order includes a generator rental — no exceptions. We deliver it, fuel it, start it, and take it with us at pickup.
The order
How a Long Beach Park Booking Works
This is a real sequence — each step depends on the one before it, so work them in order.
-
Build your quote
Pick your jumper, your park, and your delivery and pickup times. Add the required generator. Send the quote — don't pay yet.
-
Buy your permit from the City
Reserve your park space and pay the City's permit fees directly. Tell the City you are bringing a jumper from an approved vendor so the correct permit is issued.
-
Send us the permit and your ID
Email a clear photo of the permit and the matching driver's license or ID to mobrentalsllc@gmail.com. We can't confirm a park date without it.
-
Lock the date with a deposit
Once the permit checks out, we call to take the deposit and your park reservation goes on the calendar.
-
Meet us at the park
Be on site at the start of your delivery window with your permit in hand, and keep your phone on — our driver will call. We set up, anchor, run the generator, and come back at pickup.
Park-legal fleet
Pick Your Jumper for a Long Beach Park
Long Beach parks are dry-inflatable only — so every jumper on this page is one we can legally set up at a city park. Every rental includes delivery, setup, anchoring, takedown, and the generator the City requires. Tap any unit to check your date and book it.

City rules
What Long Beach Does Not Allow in Parks
These are the City's restrictions, not ours. Asking us to bring one of these to a park puts your permit and our approved-vendor status at risk, so we won't do it — but every one of them is fair game at a private residence.
- Water slides and any inflatable with a water feature
- Inflatable rock climbing walls
- Laser tag
- Toy-weapon games — airsoft, Nerf, gel or foam blasters
- Mechanized inflatables and rides
- Dunk tanks
- Zorb balls and bubble soccer
- Generators from anyone but your approved vendor
On the day
- Clearance
- Jumpers must sit at least 10 feet from private property, parking lots, and sidewalks.
- Power
- Only the generator we supply, and only for the jumper.
- Permit
- Keep the permit on site and available the whole time.
- Setup time
- Build your permit window wide enough to cover delivery and pickup, not just party hours.
- Supervision
- An adult supervises the jumper at all times — we set up and take down, we don't staff the party.
- Weather
- High wind or rain can cancel a park setup for safety. We'll call you early if it's looking that way.

Questions
Long Beach Park FAQs
Is a jumper the same thing as a bounce house?
Yes. Around Long Beach and the South Bay most people say jumper, and plenty of families say bounce house or moonwalk for the exact same inflatable. Ask us for any of them and you will get the same unit, the same delivery, and the same setup.
Do I really have to get my own permit?
Yes. The permit is issued by the City to the person holding the event, so it has to be purchased by you. Being an approved vendor lets us deliver into the park — it does not cover your permit, and we can't pull one on your behalf.
Why can't I bring my own generator?
Long Beach only permits a generator on park property when an approved bounce house vendor supplies it for that vendor's inflatable. Your own generator isn't allowed through the gate, and there's no public outlet at the park to plug into.
Can I rent a water slide for a park?
No — the City prohibits water slides and any inflatable with water at its parks. Book a dry slide or a dry obstacle course for the park, or move the water units to a home address.
What happens if I don't send my permit in time?
We hold the date once we have the permit and deposit. Without a permit on file we have to release the reservation, because arriving at a park without one means we can't set up at all.
Are you insured for city parks?
Yes. Approved vendor status with Long Beach requires commercial general liability, an endorsement naming the City, workers' compensation coverage, and commercial auto coverage — all of which we carry and keep current with the City.
How early should I book?
As early as you can. Park dates move fast in spring and summer, and you need enough lead time to secure the City permit before we can confirm. Weekends in peak season regularly book out weeks ahead.
Do you deliver tables and chairs to parks by themselves?
Park deliveries go out with an inflatable rental. Add-ons ride along with your bounce house order rather than as a standalone drop.
