Christmas Jumper Rental FAQs
Are you licensed and insured for school and church events?
Yes. MOB Rentals is a licensed and insured Southern California party rental company. We provide a certificate of insurance for every school, district, church, park and corporate booking, and we can name your organization as additional insured on the certificate. Send us the exact legal name and the address the certificate should show, and we’ll have it back to your office the same business day.
Is a Christmas jumper the same as a bounce house?
Yes. Around Los Angeles most people call them jumpers; you may also hear bounce house, moonwalk or moon bounce. Our Christmas jumpers include the Gingerbread Bounce House and the Gingerbread Toddler Playland, and the Gingerbread Obstacle Course for older kids and adults.
How far in advance should we book Christmas rentals?
Christmas compresses onto about three December Saturdays, and our themed units are single-copy. Schools and churches booking a winter festival should reserve six to eight weeks out; late-September inquiries for an December 25 or 31 date frequently find the Gingerbread Obstacle Course already committed. If your date is close, call (310) 748-3366 rather than waiting on email — we can tell you in one minute what is still open.
Do you set up at parks, and do we need a permit?
Yes. We are a City of Long Beach approved inflatable vendor and can service all Long Beach parks. For park events, the customer purchases their own park permit from the city, and a generator rental from us is required because park power is not available or not permitted for inflatables. Other cities have their own permit processes — tell us the park on your quote and we’ll flag what’s needed.
What does the rental price include?
Delivery, setup, anchoring, safety testing and teardown within our standard service area. Prices shown are starting rates; the final quote depends on date, duration, distance, surface and whether a generator or attendant is added. Units are commercially sanitized after every rental and inspected before every delivery.
What surfaces can you set up on?
Grass, blacktop, concrete and asphalt lots all work. Grass allows stake anchoring; blacktop, concrete and lots are sandbag-anchored. Let us know the surface on your quote so the right anchoring comes on the truck. We do not set up on dirt, gravel, sand or slopes.
How many attractions does a school winter festival need?
A rough planning number: one high-throughput attraction per 150–200 attendees, plus a game package to absorb the waiting line. For a 400-student elementary school, the Winter Festival Starter package — one obstacle course, one combo and six midway games — keeps lines under control for a two-to-three hour event. Larger campuses usually add a second dual-lane course rather than a second bounce house.
Are your Christmas jumpers good for little kids?
Yes — they are some of our most requested December units from churches and elementary schools. The Gingerbread Bounce House and Gingerbread Toddler Playland are friendly, cartoon-style holiday units that work for preschool through fifth grade, and the Gingerbread Obstacle Course is a hit with older kids and adults.
Can you handle corporate vendor requirements?
Yes. We regularly onboard as a vendor with corporate facilities and procurement teams: W-9, certificate of insurance with the company named additional insured, and standard vendor forms. Weekday and evening install windows are available for office campuses and warehouse lots.
What is your weather policy for December events?
Inflatables cannot operate safely in sustained high winds or rain. If conditions on your date make setup unsafe, we work with you on a reschedule — call us as early as the forecast turns rather than the morning of, so we can move the crew and hold your units.
