Here's How Party Day Goes
You pick the bouncer. We do the lifting, the sweating and the hauling.
Tell Us The Date & The Yard
Date, ages of the kids, and where it's going — grass, concrete, driveway or park. Quote back in about fifteen minutes.
We Beat The Guests There
Crew rolls up early, anchors it, inflates it, walks you through the rules, and disappears before the first kid arrives.
Then We Vanish Again
End of day we break it down and haul it off. Every unit is commercially sanitized before the next family gets it.
Which One Should I Book?
Ages 2–5
A classic castle or the toddler playland. Low walls, no slide queue, no getting flattened by big kids.
Ages 4–12
Book a combo, every time. The slide turns twenty minutes of bouncing into three hours of party.
Big Kids & Teens
Dual lane, or step up to an obstacle course. If they can race it, they'll stay on it.
Hot Harbor City Days
Dry units sitting in full sun get uncomfortably warm, because the vinyl holds heat. Over about 85°F we’d steer you to a water slide instead, or at least a shaded spot.

— Repeat customer, Google reviewRenting In Harbor City: What To Know
Harbor City is ten minutes from the warehouse, and because it is technically part of Los Angeles the park rules are not the ones its neighbours use.
Close Enough To Be Early
Our warehouse is on E Dominguez Street in Carson, about ten minutes down the 110 from Harbor City. That is how we manage early morning setups that companies driving down from the Valley cannot offer.
No Stakes At Ken Malloy
The ground around Machado Lake is soft, and LA City guidelines prohibit staking into grassy areas at Ken Malloy anyway. Units there get sandbag ballast. It does not change the unit or the price, but it does mean the crew needs to know the location in advance.
Grass, Concrete Or Driveway
All of them. Hard surfaces get sandbags instead of stakes, plus tarps under the unit. Tell us the surface when you book.
Harbor City Is LA City — Different Rules
Harbor City is a neighbourhood of Los Angeles, not its own city, so LA City Recreation and Parks sets the rules. At Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park jumpers are allowed but the guidelines are specific: the company must be on the City's approved vendor list, insurance must name the City of Los Angeles as additional insured, and staking into grassy areas is prohibited — everything gets sandbagged. Amplified sound is not allowed. The permit runs about $40 and picnic reservations need 30 days. Ask us to confirm our approved-vendor status before you book the park.
Space & Power
Every unit has its own footprint — the exact dimensions are listed on each unit’s page, so measure your space before you book. We also need a standard household outlet within 25 feet of the setup spot, and a clear path at least three feet wide to get the unit in.
Schools, Churches & PTAs
Field days, fall festivals, grad nights and church carnivals across Harbor City and the South Bay, every season. Licensed and insured, certificate of insurance naming your district or organization, and we invoice on your terms instead of asking a PTA volunteer for a card at the gate.
Multiple units, staffed attendants and staggered delivery windows are routine for us. Pair an obstacle course with carnival games and you have a whole festival in one booking.
Harbor City Bounce House FAQs
How much does it cost to rent a bounce house in Harbor City?
Classic bounce houses start at $135 and combos with a slide start at $240. Obstacle courses start at $395. Setup, takedown and sanitizing are included in every price, and delivery is calculated at checkout based on your address.
How long do I get the bounce house for?
A standard rental covers your event day. We deliver and set up in the morning before guests arrive and collect at the end of the day. Tell us your start time and we build the delivery window around it.
Do you set up on concrete or a driveway?
Yes — grass, dirt, concrete, asphalt, any flat surface. On hard surfaces we anchor with sandbags rather than stakes and lay tarps underneath to protect the unit.
Is a jumper the same as a bounce house?
Same thing. Around Harbor City most people say jumper — so do the city permit forms — while the rest of the country says bounce house. Party jumper, moon bounce, moonwalk, jolly jumper and inflatable castle all describe the same unit. Search for whichever word you grew up with; you will land on the same 18 units.
Can I put a bounce house in a Harbor City park?
Harbor City is part of the City of Los Angeles, so LA City Recreation and Parks governs, not a Harbor City council. At Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park jumpers are permitted, but the company has to be on the City's approved vendor list, the insurance must name the City of Los Angeles as additional insured, and nothing can be staked into the grass — units are ballasted with sandbags instead. Amplified sound is not permitted. Budget about $40 for the permit and request the picnic reservation 30 days ahead.
What's the difference between a bounce house and a combo?
A bounce house is a single open jumping area. A combo adds a slide, and usually a climb wall, inside the same unit. For kids four and up the combo is worth the difference — plain bouncing loses its appeal after about twenty minutes.
How far in advance should I book?
One to two weeks is comfortable. Longer for summer weekends, Halloween and graduation season — those book out first. Last-minute dates do open up, so it's worth a call.
Are your bounce houses clean?
Every unit is commercially sanitized after each rental and inspected before it goes out again. We meet California safety standards for commercial inflatables.
Can I rent more than one inflatable?
Yes. Add a water slide, an obstacle course or carnival games to the same booking. It all arrives in one delivery with one setup and one crew, so a bigger event isn't a bigger hassle.
Do you provide insurance documents?
Yes. We're licensed and insured and provide a certificate of insurance for schools, churches, parks and venues that require one. Tell us who needs to be named and we send it ahead of the event.
What happens if it rains?
Talk to us as early as you can. Inflatables can't run safely in high wind or heavy rain, and we'd far rather move your date than put kids in an unsafe unit.
